Charlie the Goon

One of the mercenaries under constant employ of the Slime Lord. He seems to be the (slightly) smarter of the two Goons.

Comics: 13
Recent Appearance: Low Resolution
First Appearance: Past Catching Up

Mayberry Melonpool

Mayberry Melonpool is the television-addicted, somewhat clumsy, not-all-that-intelligent Captain of the "Steel Duck." Oh yeah, and he's obsessed with getting a date. In short, he doesn't have a lot going for him.

Comics: 240
Recent Appearance: April What?
First Appearance: New Beginnings!

Sam T. Dogg

Sam T. Dogg is completely out of his element. He’s super intelligent, a highly-skilled pilot and has the most common sense of anyone aboard the "Steel Duck." Also, no one takes him seriously because he’s a dog.

Comics: 214
Recent Appearance: April What?
First Appearance: Beating the Odds

So, it never fails. If I’m unsure about a gag, it usually becomes a fan favorite, but if I think I came up with something really funny (like today’s strip), no one notices! LOL.

Well, “Menage A 3” is somebody else’s not-family-friendly webcomic. But then, gags that come to you DURING a menage a trois are usually a lot lessfunny than they seem at the time.

Naw. Nothing like that. It just made me auth when I came up with the idea in my sketchbook a couple of months ago. Other comics which I didn;t think were particularly funny have been received really well, though — so I wonder how best gauge my sense of humor sometimes. 😉

Of course, some of this may have been because the comments seemed to be disabled most of today due to a Project Wonderful error. Will reinstate ads once they fix it on their end..

This is Mayberry’s least Kirk-like moment ever.
