Flatworm Jim was the original pilot of Ralph Zinobop‘s experimental spaceship, the Steel Duck. A six-foot-tall, intelligent flatworm, Jim’s usefulness was cut short when he was injured, resulting in a second head that constantly contradicted him.

Eventually, Jim was split two more times, resulting in “Good” Jim (loyal to Mayberry), “Evil” Jim (loyal to Ralph) and Two-Headed Jim (Neutral to neither — or both). All three (or four, depending on if you’re counting heads or tails) now live on Ralph’s asteroid tending to over 6 million hamsters with another of Ralph’s rejected experiments, Fred the Monkey.
